Fat people who hate thin people for being thin?

Second, I, and I suspect a vast majority of other people, cannot control to whom they are attracted. Related to this, thin people make up the overwhelming majority of people considered attractive. These things have an obvious relation.

I will take models as what is considered attractive. It is not a perfect analogy, but it is a model’s profession to be attractive, so its a useful paradigm. I hardly believe I will see an obese model (in seriousness, not as a spectacle) in my lifetime. I have, however, seen anorexics and bulimics walking the runway.

Therefore, lose weight. There is no need to be anorexic, to which I have already alluded as the polar opposite of obesity, just as there is no need to be horrifyingly overweight. Weight, like happiness, lies in the middle.

Note to my fellow Americans, Europeans (Britons, you are Europeans. Sorry. Canadians are Americans (as they occupy the American continent). We all have our identity problems.) are way thinner than you, on average. One of many reasons I will be sad to leave in a few weeks. Americans — lose weight. I don’t want to have to look at you fat.
