1. Form opinion
a. Opinion must reflect on oneself positively
i. Validity of opinion is of little concern
2. Attempt to explain opinion
a. Speak first
i. If cannot speak first, ignore prior speaker(s)
b. Shun use of facts
i. If facts must be used, validity is of minor concern
c. Speak at great speed
d. Do not allow concurrent speaker(s)
i. In event of concurrent speaker, raise voice as necessary
e. Insult adversary
i. Casual, patronizing insults usually preferred
ii. Name-calling essential
3. Upon completion of exposition, argument concluded
a. Carry on as if argument won
b. If adversary persists, leave location
i. If location is preferred, demand adversary leave
4. Learn nothing
